Delivering your baby at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock
The day you welcome your child into the world is one of the most important days of your life, and at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock, we make sure your labor and delivery goes as smoothly as possible.
Parking & Check-in
When you arrive on the Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock campus, you will find convenient and free parking at the front of our hospital north of the main entrance. These parking spots are marked with pink paint and signage. Please enter through the hospital main entrance and proceed to the screening station. Once screening has been completed, please go to the 2nd floor where you will be greeted and helped with the check-in process.
After registration, a nurse will examine you to determine what stage of labor you are in. You will be directed to one of our labor and delivery suites. These spacious suites offer amenities such as showers, refrigerators, sleeper-sofas for a family member and some even include soaking tubs.
About Our Labor & Delivery Suites
You will go through labor, vaginal delivery and recovery in your labor and delivery suite. A few hours later, you and your baby will move to a postpartum room. These rooms also provide space for dad or significant other to stay with you.
Maternity Suites
Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock also offers larger maternity suites for families looking for additional space, privacy and amenities. These comfortable and serene maternity suites are the perfect setting for welcoming your new baby. These suites are reserved through a monetary donation to our Foundation which helps to serve our women’s and children’s department.

Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock offers Angel Eye Camera Systems for parents and families who cannot be with their baby in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This innovative technology enables loved ones to log into a secure account from their laptop, tablet, or smartphone and check in on their newborn from any location at any time of the day.
