Muhammad Khan Joins Baptist Health Renal Care-Fort Smith

FORT SMITH, Ark. –  Muhammad Khan, MD, recently joined Baptist Health Renal Care-Fort Smith.

As a nephrologist, Dr. Khan specializes in diagnosing and treating kidney conditions such as chronic kidney disease, polycystic kidney disease, nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, hepatorenal syndrome, end-stage renal disease and kidney stones. Dr. Khan can also help patients with dialysis management. 

“To serve patients well, I like to balance medical expertise with empathy and clear communication,” said Dr. Khan. “I listen actively, involve them in decisions and respect their autonomy. Personalized care is the key. I try to build trust and deliver the best possible care.” 

Dr. Khan earned a medical degree at Ayub Medical College in Pakistan and completed fellowships in nephrology at Virginia Commonwealth University and transplant hepatology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
