About

At an early age, my father had chronic back pain and received hone Chiropractic care and I was interested in the treatments he would receive. Later, when I was in high school, I attended the Medical Science Research Club and observed in the Physical Therapy setting. I felt then that I could help others in the Physical Therapy field, and it could be a career when I grew up. My grandmother was also a Registered Nurse, so maybe the medical field runs in my blood.

I have over 23 years of experience in a variety of settings helping patients with low and high levels of assistance required. I have a strong emphasis on Neurological, Orthopedic and Amputee diagnoses. I have worked in Acute Care, Long-term Care, Acute Rehabilitation, Home Health care and Outpatients settings. I have volunteered coaching basketball, volleyball, and softball teams. I also provide community in-services to student athletes/parents for injury prevention, hydration and sport specific readiness information. I feel that I give compassionate, empathetic care, just as I would want to be treated.

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and two children, remodeling our home, camping, boating and our small farm life with goats, chickens, pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats and various other animals we might acquire.
