Baptist Health Hospitals Earn National Recognition for Stroke and Heart Care

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Eight Baptist Health hospitals across the state earned American Heart Association Get with the Guidelines® (GWTG) Stroke, Heart Failure and Coronary Artery Disease Quality Achievement Awards for ensuring their patients receive the most appropriate and timely treatment in the event of a heart attack, heart failure or stroke. 

  • Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock – GWTG Stroke Award Gold Plus, Target: Stroke Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes  
  • Baptist Health Medical Center- North Little Rock GWTG Stroke Award Silver Plus, Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll
  • Baptist Health-Fort Smith – GWTG Heart Failure Award Gold plus, Target HF Honor Roll, Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll, GWTG Stroke Award Gold Plus, Target Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll
