Baptist Health Offering Free Back-To-School Immunizations Throughout Central Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Knowing it’s time to start getting children prepared for the coming school year in central Arkansas, Baptist Health Community Outreach is offering several opportunities for children to receive their required back-to-school immunizations at no cost.

Vaccinations will be available in August at the following locations:

Jacksonville 

  • Martin Street Youth Center (201 West Martin St.)
    Monday, Aug. 2 from 3 to 6. p.m.

Little Rock

  • Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas (6221 Colonel Glenn Road)
    Tuesday, Aug. 3, from noon to 2:30 p.m.
  • Southwest Community Center (6401 Baseline Road)
    Saturday, Aug. 7, from 2 to 4 p.m.
  • Liberty Hill Baptist Church (1215 S. Schiller St.)
    Monday, Aug. 9, from 3 to 6 p.m.
  • West Central Community Center (8616 Colonel Glenn Road)
    Saturday, Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Partnership for a Healthy Arkansas Building (10117 Kanis Road)
    Tuesday, Aug. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m.
    Thursday, Aug. 12, from 3 to 6 p.m.
    Monday, Aug. 16, from 3 to 7 p.m.

North Little Rock

  • New Hope Baptist Church (1821 Edmond St.) (preschool physicals available)
    Saturday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. to noon

Sherwood

  • Sylvan Hills United Methodist Church (9921 AR 107)
    Thursday Aug. 5, from 3 to 7 p.m. (preschool physicals available)

Free backpacks filled with school supplies will be given to the first 50 children who receive immunizations at each location. Please bring your child’s shot records. If you have Medicaid, please bring proof of coverage as well.
