Baptist Health Welcomes New Physician to Heart Institute

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Dr. Jeffrey Stewart will soon be a part of the Baptist Health Heart Institute. The heart institute offers a full range of cardiovascular services including education and prevention, diagnostics, emergency care, transplantation and cardiac rehabilitation programs by partnering with some of the most experienced heart physicians.

Stewart, who earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in 1997 and a Cardiology Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2000.

Specializing in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Stewart is joining Drs. Anthony Fletcher and Joe Hargrove with the Baptist Health Cardiology & Medicine Clinic (BHCMC) located at 5315 West 12th Street in Little Rock. The clinic’s telephone number is 501-664-0941. Before joining the practice at BHCMC, Stewart was employed at Arkansas Heart Hospital for the past nine years.
